jersey day!

almost couldnt get e shot esp when i standing beside two diehard man u fans-fengqi n zewei..should have known it..haha..arsenal n man u r archrivals man..but still brothers in Christ..

me n some cg bros: jiaxiang(e one in dull green), hwee keong, jacky(in real madrid jersey) n zhiyun..yeah man! i am all excited to know them better n do my part to build e cg..though everyone is like pretty new..but see a lot of potential in how God can use us, young,budding graduates..

alan n his sheeps: tony, zewei n dehua..they r reali close man as tis pic shows..find it amazing..despite all from various backgrounds..but yet their convictions for God n his ppl can be so strong n united in e same purpose n vision..it reali shows u can find close frenz thru serving in church..not totally true dat "u cannot find close frenz in church" or "serving can be a lonely affair" though God does talk abt carryinge our own cross n follow Him first before anything else..it is a testimony to me as well..though yet to experience e kind of closeness n like-mindedness like them but hoping n believing for it..

tink many a times..i've too high an expectation when building frenzships..i expect tis person to be like tis n dat..seeing e lacks instead of wat is possible or e common space dat oredi exists bet both parties..have tis thing of wanting to make new frenz, not sticking w church alone..ppl out there in e world seems more happening..or find myself haunted by those hurtful remarks made by ppl..juz makes me shun away n stay in my cocoon..anyway, wasnt a sociable person in e very first place before i was a believer..independent n like to do things my way..

but guess a lot dat i can grow still..somehow, my heart seems to want to try n explore tis more esp when seeing some ppl like those in e photo above enjoying dat deep,enriching.Christ-centered frenzship..they can't be faking man all tis while..it's hard to put on a show all e time for yrs..haha..used to tink dat..cos dun make sense to me how is it possible?..or it'd naturally come as u serve..not true man, efforts need to be made..esp after moving on to another ministry, a gd indicator is :do u still stay in touch? yet it is unrealistic oso dat u want to be close frenz w everyone or expects dat to be a prequisite..tink sometimes circumstances dun allow dat..i used to tink dat u must be close w e person before u serve..is it realistic? esp when society becomes more hectic n online-connected..tink e way we define friendships prob have to change as well..now ppl ask, do u msn/go n look at blog lah..i posted how i feel abt tis issue for eg? haha..tis might not go well w e older ppl who pref face-to-face man..i'm one of those..haha..finds it funny how relating can change overtime..but guess some qualities dun change: love, listening ear, commitment, like-mindedness etc..it is prob e way we relate dat changes, not replacing e values dat r needed

hmm..God definitely have a way as alan n his sheeps r a living testimony..tis attracts me man..
