1st wk

it has been a veri tiring yet fulfiling first wk for me at work..tiring becos of all e gym workouts on wed,fri..soccer on sat n running yest at east coast..dun tink i've exerted myself so much before..so veri tired man..haha..not going to gym later but it's not hard for me to fit in or have to deliberately joined them cos it's part of my lifestyle to keep fit n healthly.. it seemed to be e culture there for ppl to freely embrace sports..it's part of their life..a lifestyle to keep fit..so just nice man..join them lo

reali thankful dat God has placed me there..i seem to be in e right place..feels veri good man..e monetary n career benefits aside..e idea of creating n encouraging more opportunities for teritary students-ite/poly/uni/ns to participate in sports, play it longer/better along the athlete development pathway..appeals to me a lot..e value of investing in youths n doing sthg dat is veri meaningful..seeing e effects a few yrs down e road..it takes courage n vision to see it happen..though now it's pretty much at the conceptualising stage..cannot help but tink abt it even when at home..how to? is it possible? sthg like outreaching but a different kind..

it's entirely opposite to what i major in,social work, there dun seem to be any link except e fact dat we r looking into e developmental lifespan across youth from infancy to tertiary-before they start working..hmm..i just can't find a reason for me to imagine i can be here..haha..except God's working..ppl there major in marketing/business..me? well..only try to market arts in a module n planning for matriculation n coordinating nb party..thankful for e Lord's providence..prob i'd stay for a few yrs..maybe 4-5..i reali dun mind man..even if there's not much career advancement..the experiences of 'pioneering' sthg..championing,ensuring e ideas are executed,brainstorming..wow..i can only imagine and it'd happen

tink e ppl there are generally ok..nice n helpful..though it's a veri small team..8-10 of us only..reali thankful when i heard from fellow colleague dat i am considered 'lucky' to be offered the job cos there was a halt in hiring new ppl..i could not give thanks in my heart more than to noe dat it's e Lord who has blessed me..which is why i am all e more determined to excel in my work,ministry,family..not to take His grace for granted..reali hope to testify for Christ thru my work..being disciplined, hardworking etc..
