Hurray!

Praise God! He turns my mourning into dancing! haha..I'm juz encouraged after i blogged yesterday and after i went for cg..it's juz so refreshing..at least this time when i led worship, i guess it's better than the last time..though there r areas tt i need to improve..still learning man..

that's not the end..think i learn a lot from ben's sharing subsequently about standing firm when the crunch time comes..it's veri true for me at least..was quite depressed by my slow progress in revision..reali contemplated of compromising in serving God at least for the next few wks..until the exams are over..juz focused on my studies, get the grades i want..but yet his sharing made me think again..it's can be easily done..throw in the towel and tt's it..if such things happen, how can i go thru' if tougher trials come along my my way if such a small thing i can't even cope or deal with?

I'm juz so encouraged by DErek when i met him up for shepherding after cg..felt juz so tired when i was on the train on the way to sengkang..but things took the change after i met him up..reali encouraged by this dear sheep/bro/frenz of mine..it's juz not easy at all to focus on so many things when he has his uni admission to worry abt, constantly on his mind..worrying for a gd reason..thinking of ways to improve his score while at the same time juggle with ns commitments..even ministry and band committee oso..not easy man..but he never gives up! still want to stand firm no matter wat..want to continue to grow..be a shepherd..i'm veri encouraged..third time i repeat this word..haha..i do mean a lot wat i say..among the many sheeps i had before, he is the only one whom i reali say has a veri gd heart towards God and pple and the closest in terms of relationship..Love u bro! : )

Cannot help but reali give thanks to God for so many things that He is doing in my personal life, cg, sheeps and unit..though the pace of things is so much faster this sem compared to the previous one..so many new pple joining us..wow! but reali hope we would continue to be strong and support one another in love by our words and deeds..
>thank God tt we pioneered successfully an arts guy cg! 6 mths ago, it was juz the power of the idea..haha..but now it's reality..God is faithful and he brings in Benglee,Gerard,Barnabas and Edwin! PTL!

>Been running for the past 1 wk..mon,wed and later in the day..w Kin Wee my other sheep..haha..it's juz so diff when there's someone to run with you..haha..had a gd time of sharing oso..tt he's more disciplined for tis sem..juz made me wonder tt the bros around me r all doing quite well in their studies..got e As they want..haha..feel quite pressurised man..haha..it's ok..i'm stil secure in God..wherever i go, i'm trying hard to run than walk or take the bus..i juz want to aim to do well for my IPPT, not juz pass but get a Gold..$400..would be a big burden off my financial tightness..it's looking veri possible..been running >4km for stamina and doing sprinting every 200m..for the past 2/3 wks..after my test..haha..

>Gerard, this bro's gwth..it's veri encouraging..hahha..his eagerness and desire to want to know more about our faith..sms the night before to remind me that we r meeting for follow-up..looking forward/excited to come for CG..finished John and jotted down questions when areas in the Bible tt he doesn't know..wow! reminds me of dai dai..haha..Thank God! Reali look forward to work with him to turn Arts upside down

Reali hope to testify God's goodness at the end of the year..tt he helps me get IPPT gold, doing well in my studies, get a CAP of 3.65 and being involved in developing myself-guitar(still learning..haha) chairing, planning, language, read up..and saving 6 souls since June tis yr (+3 more)..discipling bros to grow them to maturity..seeing God bring the firstfruits in among my relatives..though i dun 've many talents or abilities..but by His grace, i'm able to be such a Uni student that happens to be a Christ-follower, making an impact in NUS..

Acts 19 : 8 - 10
Then Paul went to the synagogue and preached boldly for the next three months, arguing persuasively about the Kingdom of God. But some rejected his message and publicly spoke against the Way, so Paul left the synagogue and took the believers with him. Then he began preaching daily at the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for the next two years, so that people throughout the province of Asia--both Jews and Greeks--heard the Lord's message.

Psalm 1 (NLT)
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper.
