3 more wks to reservist

3 weeks just passed. The flurry of work caught me a bit off-guarded. had a tremendous task to confirm the march's conference presenters by mid-dec. Before i start my 3-week reservist on 17th dec. No point and time brooding what should be done right or who takes the blame. Things have to move fast from now on.

Other than the work, i am encouraged more and more by the synergy between me, eileen and guofeng. Not sure what happened but each of us seemed to have caught the xmas evax virus which is a good thing : ) For me, really praying to have new and good-hearted guys to sow on and bring jacky along. There is this extra motivation to grow spiritually. Hope it will sustain.

Last night's dmm continued our discussion on business ideas that we can embark on. Ideas of a one-stop search portal for everything from food,happenings grouped according to geographical location. Iwas keen on the idea of 'heartland' tours, believe that this is an untapped market, maybe a few tour agencies have started but the tours seemed sporadic and scattered. It will be great if we can develop a series of heartland trails, well aware of the fact that mediacorp has produced a series of heartland documentaries whereby the major satelite towns were featured on the show. Package everything nicely and sell to the expected influx of foreigners who will visit our red dot in the coming 4 years with all the F1,IR and sports hub expected to be completed.

It can tie in nicelywith the call of our church. We can easily tap on the 1 million foreigners and more who either stay/work/study here. Connect with them, investing and many will in turn return to their homelands and carry on the work. Really think that a large congregation like ours can do a lot more, somehow feel that this area can be given more attention. I always feel that it is a waste that there are just so many talented people in our community but sometimes we just lack the drive, forward-lookingness, limited contact base that hinder us from doing more. We spend like more than half of our free time spending time here, contributing to our community. All the more we should develop close ties and links and venture for Him.
